Vision
Become the premier provider of intelligent voltage control for the residential, commercial, and industrial markets world-wide.
The traditional electrical grid is evolving towards distributed energy generation. This trend necessitates the integration of higher quality and efficiency of voltage control. Accelerating dependence on connectivity to sustain our economy and quality of life is making power spikes, sags, flicker, and brownouts more obvious and intolerable. Convergence of trends (IoT, Solar, Energy Storage) will facilitate virtual power plants and other innovations, driving the need for Pacific Volt’s solutions.
Pacific Volt was founded in the belief that utilities need fast, dependable voltage regulation on the secondary in order to assure power quality and efficiency as the energy ecosystem evolves, and that utility customers will, over time, become more active participants in the generation and storage of energy on the grid. A critical challenge today for utilities and their customers is to maintain system integrity in the face of rapid change. Accordingly, Pacific Volt offers solutions that will prove useful no matter how the future unfolds.
Power quality is emerging as a high priority and shared responsibility between utilities, customers, and distributed generation providers. Many significant new uses of electrical power require high power quality, at the same time that distributed generation is making it more challenging to guarantee such quality. Pure power will become as essential as pure water and pure air. High performance AC voltage regulation will be essential to meet this challenge. We're ready.
